David hosted his first documentary in 2014, The World’s War, focusing on the often-overlooked Indian, African and Asian troops who served in World War One. Previously named as one of the most influential black Britons, David was awarded an OBE in 2019 for his services to history and community integration. Also, an accomplished BAME speaker, he regularly draws on his own fascinating life experiences to demonstrate to audiences the systematic racism that is still very much prominent in society today.
